Synopsis:

The Sound of Music is set in Austria on the eve of World War II. The story follows Maria, a young woman who becomes the governess for the von Trapp family. As Maria brings joy and music into their strict household, she forms a special bond with the seven von Trapp children and their father, Captain von Trapp. However, their newfound happiness is soon tested by the looming political turmoil and the challenges that seem to lie ahead.
