Synopsis
The Desert Song is a musical operetta inspired by the true story of the 1925 uprising of the Riffs. As tensions rise between the French forces and the Riffs, the secret hero Pierre Birabeau learns to navigate his dual identity as the “Red Shadow” while pursuing romance with the selective Margot Bonvalet. The Desert Song presents itself as a sweeping romance filled with adventure, intrigue, and classic operatic moments.
