The Most Happy Fella tells the story of Tony Esposito, an Italian vineyard owner in California’s Napa Valley. When Tony falls in love with a young waitress named Rosabella, he proposes to her through a letter. However, she accepts the proposal under the mistaken belief that a photo of Tony’s youthful and attractive foreman is her prospective husband. Things complicate further when Tony is involved in an accident on his way to meet her. The musical explores the power of second chances and the power of love.
