Synopsis
Sister Act tells the story of Deloris Van Cartier, a disco diva who, after witnessing a crime, is placed in protective custody in a convent. To keep safe and undercover, Deloris takes on the guise of a nun and discovers a world quite different from her glamorous lifestyle. As she transforms the convent’s struggling choir into a sensational ensemble, Sister Act explores themes of friendship, redemption, and the power of music.
