Synopsis

Li’l Abner is based on the classic comic strip and takes place in the fictional town of Dogpatch, USA. The story revolves around the lovable Abner, who has been changed in mysterious ways after taking a powerful Yokumberry Tonic. When his town of Dogpatch is declared the “most unnecessary town” in America, Abner gets caught up in some unexpected and tricky situations. Li’l Abner is a satire that touches on themes of romance, gender roles, and American politics.
