Synopsis:

Damn Yankees follows the story of Joe Boyd, a passionate baseball fan who would do anything to see his beloved Washington Senators win against the New York Yankees. His wish catches the attention of the devilish Mr. Applegate, who offers Joe a deal – he can become young Joe Hardy, a baseball superstar who will lead the Senators to victory, in exchange for his soul. Joe agrees, leaving his wife Meg behind, and becomes the talented slugger. Damn Yankees explores the allure of fame, love, and the battle between good and evil.
