Synopsis:

Hot Mikado follows the handsome and rebellious Nanki-Poo, who falls in love with the beautiful Yum-Yum. However, Yum-Yum is engaged to the powerful Ko-Ko. As Nanki-Poo and Yum-Yum’s forbidden romance blossoms, they must navigate the absurdities of Titipu’s laws and traditions. Hot Mikado is a comedic reinterpretation of Gilbert and Sullivan’s classic operetta The Mikado, showcasing musical elements of jazz, swing, scat, and blues along the way.
