Synopsis:
Follies delves into the lives of former showgirls who reunite at a dilapidated Broadway theater. Set against the backdrop of the theater’s impending destruction, the show navigates the intertwined relationships of two couples, Sally and Buddy, and Phyllis and Ben, as they confront their past and present. As the former showgirls reminisce about their youth and ambitions, the presence of the “ghosts” of their former selves underscores the inner struggles and the choices they’ve made.
