Evening Primrose: Musical Info & Synopsis

Synopsis:

Evening Primrose, originally a one-act television special, follows Charles Snell, a poet seeking to escape the confines of the world. To achieve this, he hides in a department store overnight, only to discover he is not alone. The store is inhabited by others who have also chosen to live secretly within its walls. As Charles navigates this unusual society, he encounters a young woman named Ella Harkins, and together they embark on a journey of self-discovery and rebellion. Evening Primrose explores themes of isolation, conformity, and the human longing for connection.
