Synopsis

Ankles Aweigh follows Hollywood starlet Wynne, who defies her movie contract by secretly marrying U.S. Navy lieutenant Bill Kelley. In order to slip away on their honeymoon, Wynne disguises herself as a sailor and stows away on Bill’s ship. However, their romantic getaway takes a turn when they unexpectedly encounter Lucia, Bill’s jealous ex-girlfriend. Ankles Aweigh offers a nostalgic romp filled with romance, chaos, and plenty of surprises.
