Musical Type: Pre-Contemporary (1995)
John & Jen was Andrew Lippa’s first musical. It opened Off-Broadway in 1995 and later had an Off-Broadway revival in 2015.

Musical Type: Pre-Contemporary (1997)
Not to be confused with LaChiusa’s The Wild Party, Lippa’s The Wild Party premiered around the same time. Lippa’s was nominated for 13 Drama Desk Awards, winning one for best music.
You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown

Musical Type: Post-Golden Age (1967)
You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown premiered in the 1960s, but it got a bit of a revamp in the 1990s. And during that revamp, Andrew Lippa contributed three new songs to the show.

Musical Type: Contemporary (2004)
Based on the 1905 children’s book, A Little Princess had its premiere in California. Although it hasn’t yet made it to Broadway, the show has been very popular with community theatres.

Musical Type: Contemporary (2009)
The Addams Family was a hit on Broadway and also had a national tour. The show earned Andrew Lippa a Tony nomination for Best Original Score and two Drama Desk nominations!

Another show to make it to Broadway, Andrew Lippa’s Big Fish landed him with a Drama Desk nomination for Outstanding Music.

The Man in the Ceiling had early readings in 2008 but didn’t have a full production until 2017. The cast album was later released in 2019.
