Synopsis:
Victor/Victoria follows Victoria Grant, a struggling singer in 1930s Paris who, with the help of a friend named Toddy, transforms herself into Victor, a male performer. Victoria’s new act becomes the toast of Paris, yet complications arise when she catches the eye of a businessman named King Marchan. As romantic entanglements and mistaken identities ensue, Victor/Victoria explores themes of love, gender roles, and societal expectations in the entertainment world.
