Synopsis

La Cage aux Folles follows Georges, a nightclub owner, and his romantic partner, Albin, the star of the show. When Georges’ son, Jean-Michel, announces his engagement to the daughter of a conservative politician, Georges and Albin begin to navigate the complexities of Jean-Michel’s desire for a traditional family appearance. As they slowly learn to embrace their own identities, La Cage aux Folles offers an exploration of love, family, and societal expectations.
