Podcasts are a great way to get inspired, stay on top of new trends, and learn about interesting people. And although they aren’t new to the theatrical world, more and more theatre-related ones are starting to pop up. The list below contains old, new big, small, and basically a whole range of the best theatre podcasts for your enjoyment. So sit back, relax, and get listening!

1. Broadwaysted

We’re kicking off the list with Broadwaysted➝, as they recently hit their 100th episode! In this podcast, the hosts (Bryan, Kevin, and Kimberly) sit down to chat with people in the theatre community. But things don’t get too serious, as they tend to enjoy their time together with games and “casual drinks”. So grab your own drink and check them out for a good time!


2. Shakespeare Unlimited

Shakespeare Unlimited➝ is put on by the Folger Shakespeare Library, so it’s no wonder that it’s packed with quality information and super interesting content. Here you can find really unique episodes, like Imagining “Shakespeare’s Wife” and “How to Behave Badly in Elizabethan England”.


3. Jim and Tomic’s Musical Theatre Happy Hour ⭐

This podcast is especially fun since it’s run by one host who is a musical theatre expert and one that knows nothing about the theatre world. In each episode of Musicals with Cheese➝, they choose a new musical to analyze while being their silly selves.


7. Twins Talk Theatre

Twins Talk Theatre➝ is a podcast hosted by two twins who interview people who are active in the theatre. Give this a listen to hear shared stories of how people got started, their journeys to success, and some of their funny moments along the way.


8. The Ensemblist
