Synopsis

Something Rotten! is set in Renaissance England, where two struggling playwrights, Nick and Nigel Bottom, attempt to outshine William Shakespeare. Frustrated by the Bard’s popularity, the brothers seek guidance from a soothsayer who predicts that the future of theatre involves musicals! As the Bottom brothers attempt to create the world’s first musical, they are met with theatrical mishaps, misunderstandings, and a spirited rivalry with Shakespeare himself.
