Synopsis:
Something Rotten! transports audiences to Renaissance England, where two struggling playwrights, Nick and Nigel Bottom, attempt to outshine the theatrical genius of William Shakespeare. Frustrated by the Bard’s popularity, the brothers seek guidance from a soothsayer who predicts that the future of theater involves musicals! The Bottom brothers embark on a journey to create the world’s first musical, navigating theatrical mishaps, comedic misunderstandings, and a spirited rivalry with Shakespeare himself.
