Synopsis

Placebo centers around the ambitious endeavors of Robert and Blake Wilson. The brothers, who are presenting a placebo pill that’s entirely concocted from sugar, convince their town that it is a miraculous creation from their late father, Dr. Wilson. As the townspeople embrace the placebo and start to experience “miracles”, Placebo explores themes of dreams, illusion, ethics, and reality.
