Synopsis

My Favorite Year revolves around Benjy Stone, a young writer for a hit TV comedy show, as he navigates the challenges of working with a fading Hollywood star named Alan Swann. As the show’s staff scrambles to keep Swann in line for a guest appearance, Benjy is tasked with babysitting the unpredictable and often inebriated star. My Favorite Year celebrates the magic of television, the quirks of its larger-than-life personalities, and the friendships that come with it.
