Footloose: Musical Info & Synopsis

Synopsis:

Footloose tells the story of Ren McCormack, a teenager from Chicago who moves to a small joyless town where dancing and rock music have been banned. Determined to bring life back to the community, Ren rallies his peers to fight for their right to dance. Along the way, he falls in love with Ariel, the rebellious daughter of the conservative reverend, Shaw Moore. Footloose is a celebration of dance, self-expression, and the power of youth.
