Synopsis

Carmelina is set in a small Italian village and follows the story of a woman who has been raising her daughter, Gia, on her own. Carmelina has told everyone that her late husband was a war hero, however, three of her former lovers end up returning to the village, each believing he is Gia’s father. Ultimately, Carmelina must confront her past and decide on the future for her family. Carmelina blends humor and emotion, capturing the complexities of love and identity.
