Synopsis:

By the Beautiful Sea follows the story of Lottie Gibson, a famous performer, who returns to her family’s boarding house in Coney Island for the summer. When a charming actor named Dennis Emery comes to town with plans to perform Shakespeare, Lottie tries to help him out by writing a check. But Dennis has secrets of his own, and chaos ensues as everyone tries to protect their reputations.
