Her studies bring her into contact with the charismatic Cockeye Johnny Dembo, who operates from a rundown storefront in a Manhattan slum. As the plot unravels and tensions mount, Emily finds herself caught in the middle of a web of deceit and intrigue. Bajour is an exploration of love, ambition, money, and culture.
