Synopsis
Bajour unfolds in New York City, where anthropology student Emily Kirsten immerses herself in the customs of the Dembeschti tribe for her Ph.D. thesis. Her studies bring her into contact with the charismatic Cockeye Johnny Dembo, who operates from a rundown storefront in a Manhattan slum. As the plot unravels and tensions mount, Emily finds herself caught in the middle of a web of deceit and intrigue. Bajour is an exploration of love, ambition, money, and culture.
