Synopsis

The Visit revolves around Claire Zachanassian, a wealthy woman who returns to her impoverished hometown of Brachen, Switzerland. Seeing that the town is in desperate need of financial assistance, Claire offers to provide a substantial sum if the townspeople fulfill a dark request revolving a man who once wronged her. As the townspeople grapple with the moral dilemma, The Visit becomes a haunting exploration of greed, revenge, and the consequences of choices.
