Synopsis:

The View Upstairs follows the story of Wes, a contemporary fashion designer who purchases an old building in New Orleans and finds himself transported back in time to the vibrant gay scene of the 1970s. As he becomes entangled in the lives of the people who once frequented the building’s second-floor bar, he discovers both the joys and challenges of their era. The View UpStairs celebrates the progress made in the fight for equality while reminding us of the struggles that have paved the way for it.
