Synopsis

The View UpStairs follows the story of Wes, a contemporary fashion designer who purchases an old building in New Orleans and finds himself transported back in time to the vibrant gay scene of the 1970s. As he becomes entangled in the lives of the people who once frequented the building’s second-floor bar, he discovers the joys and challenges of their era. The View UpStairs provides a closer look at the struggles and progress made in the fight for equality.
