Synopsis
The Gay Life (later renamed The High Life) tells the story of Anatol, who decides to forsake his bachelor ways to pursue marriage with Liesl, the sister of his best friend Max. However, Liesl makes him swear to fidelity before accepting his proposal. The Gay Life touches on themes of love, trust, and the unpredictability of fate, capturing the essence of a bygone era.
