Synopsis

Spring Awakening tells the story of a group of teenagers who are living in a repressive 19th-century German society. The story follows their struggles with the confusion and curiosity that come with adolescence, including their exploration of sexuality. As they confront societal expectations, the characters face the consequences of their choices and learn about the importance of self-expression.
