Synopsis:
Hadestown weaves together the myths of Orpheus and Eurydice and Hades and Persephone. It follows the journey of Orpheus, a gifted musician, who descends to the underworld, Hadestown, to rescue his beloved Eurydice. Hadestown explores themes of love, sacrifice, and the consequences of human choices. The musical transports the audience to a world where the line between life and death, love and darkness, is tragically blurred.
