Synopsis
Dear Evan Hansen tells the story of Evan, a high school student with social anxiety, who becomes entangled in a web of lies after the death of a classmate. When a letter he wrote to himself is mistaken as a farewell note from the deceased, Evan finds himself at the center of a wave of sympathy and attention. As he navigates this newfound popularity, Evan must confront his own insecurities, face the consequences of his actions, and learn the importance of authenticity and connection.
