Synopsis

The Frogs revolves around the Greek god Dionysos and his slave Xanthias. Dissatisfied with the state of the world, Dionysos decides to journey to the underworld to bring back a great playwright to inspire humanity. As the pair navigates the underworld, they encounter various historical figures and engage in a satirical commentary on politics, art, and society as a whole.
