Sing Street: Musical Information & Synopsis

Synopsis

Sing Street is set in 1980s Dublin, where a teenager named Conor sets out to win the heart of a girl named Raphina by inviting her to star in his band’s music video. However, Conor doesn’t actually have a band yet. Undeterred, he teams up with some schoolmates to form one, using their shared love of music as a means to escape their troubles and find belonging. Sing Street is a celebration of young love and a reminder of music’s ability to uplift our spirits.
