Synopsis

Ragtime weaves together the lives of three families in the early 20th century. The story follows the suburban family of Mother, the talented Black pianist Coalhouse Walker Jr., and Tateh, a Jewish immigrant who is striving to provide for his daughter. Ragtime captures the essence of a transformative period in American history, touching on themes of race, class, and immigration.
