There are a handful of sites that I regularly return to when writing Theatre Trip’s audition song posts, and I thought it would be helpful for you to have a nice list of them on hand in case you’re ever looking for something specific! So here’s our short and sweet list of the 4 best places to easily find musical theatre sheet music.

Musicnotes➝ is Theatre Trip’s absolute top resource when it comes to finding musical theatre sheet music. The website is dependable. The sheet music is solid. And you’ll have the options of listening to and transposing sheet music before purchasing. Also, Musicnotes has a wide range of audition cuts for some of the most popular audition songs. I would definitely recommend going here first.
2. Amazon
While Musicnotes is great for purchasing individual pieces of sheet music from shows, Amazon➝ is even better for purchasing entire books. For example, most single pieces of sheet music cost around $5, when it would cost you between $10 and $20 to buy an entire book on Amazon. And with the fast shipping that Amazon provides, this is a solid option for finding great sheet music.
3. Sheet Music Plus
For the random times that you’re unable to find a particular piece of musical theatre sheet music on Amazon or Musicnotes, Sheet Music Plus➝ Sheet Music Plus is always a great next place to look! You will find sheet music for some random and lesser-known musicals here, which can definitely come in handy on your search.
4. Sheet Music Now
If you’re still unable to find what you’re looking for on Musicnotes, Amazon, or Sheet Music Plus, you should try giving Sheet Music Now➝ a search. Occasionally, I come across songs on this website that are unavailable on others.
